To configure an email account in Netscape, look for the Netscape Communicator icon on your desktop. Double clicking on the icon, Creating a New Profile pop-up window appears. Here click on Next.

 
 2  Clicking on Next, you will get a pop-up as shown below. You put your name & email address in the Full Name and Email Address fields. Click on Next.

 
 3  Now type your profile name (whatever you like) in the Profile Name field and click Next.

  
 4  Now type your domain name (e.g. www.catchcal.net) in the Outgoing mail (SMTP) Server field and click Next.

Now you  type your user name in the Mail server user name field, and type your domain name (e.g. www.catchcal.net) in the Incoming Mail Server field. Select your Mail Server type as POP3. Click on Next.

Now you can set your News server, Port number. These are optional. You have now completed the configuration of an E-mail account in Netscape. Click the Finish button to complete the process.

If you wish to change your Email account configuration in Netscape, click on Edit in the Menu bar and select Preferences.

Clicking on Preferences you will be prompted to the Preferences pop-up window. Now you will have to click on the '+' sign just beside the Mail & Newsgroups head in the right hand side panel. Under this Mail & Newsgroups head you will get each and every options you want to change.
